Fleet management and productivity of moving recyclable and waste materials will be top of the agenda for materials handling specialist Briggs Equipment, which is exhibiting along with Hyster at Europe’s premier event for resource efficiency and waste management solutions.

RWM 2015 takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from September 15-17. The event provides a much-needed platform for industry professionals to find out about the latest technology, meet leading suppliers and network with like-minded individuals to influence the way waste is managed.

On stand 5W85, located in RWM’s dedicated Handling and Logistics Zone, Briggs and Hyster will be showcasing the ‘Cool Truck’, Hyster’s new forklift truck equipped for the recycling environment.

Briggs Equipment has considerable experience in the waste management industry and will also discuss the advantages of working with a materials handling and logistics partner capable of delivering bespoke solutions.

Leigh Edgley, Regional Sales Director at Briggs Equipment, said: “RWM 2015 is a showcase for the recycling and waste management sector, giving Local Authorities, waste producers, recycling contractors and consultants access to resources that will help them improve operational, management and strategic performance.

“The show provides us with a unique opportunity to meet managers tasked with moving waste around a variety of environments and discuss cost-effective solutions that address the challenges they face on a daily basis.”

Staged in conjunction with the Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM), RWM 2015 is expected to attract more than 700 brands and over 13,000 visitors. The show aims to champion innovation by promoting achievable strategies and case studies and providing quality networking opportunities. Key industry figureheads will be giving their advice in exclusive interviews and visitors can choose from 70 free CPD-accredited seminar sessions.

RWM 2015 will also see the launch of ‘Rising Stars’, a campaign designed to challenge the way the recycling industry works while also acknowledging resource managers whose innovative initiatives are helping to transform the sector.
