New Equipment Team Leader

Role Purpose

To work in conjunction with internal and external customers to maximise parts and service volumes and profitability while achieving optimum turnaround times on all Workshop repairs within the area by focusing on deployment of resources and processes to achieve an acceptable return on assets.

Dimensions

Key Activities

  1. Overall accountability for service workshop repairs, to include Equipment Prep (new and used) and customer repairs
  2. Responsible for performance and achievement of budget plan
  3. Manage Disputes, Warranty, Rework, Productivity, Parts Returns, in line with corporate targets. (KPI’s)
  4. Implementation of repair time requirement guide
  5. Promote Customer Service Commitment for all repairs within the workshop
  6. Maintain expected condition of corporate assets (workshop management)
  7. Coaching and development of personnel with annual performance reviews
  8. Responsible for identification of training requirements, and training implementation
  9. Implement health and safety programs to achieve corporate goals for safety
  10. Implement environmental controls and procedures to achieve corporate goals for environmental care
  11. Work in conjunction with the hire control, service support and sales office to achieve customer satisfaction goals
  • Continually seek and implement new processes and methods to reduce repair costs on our rental fleet
