Briggs Equipment races to £20,000 fundraising goal within the first 3 months of partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK

A number of Briggs Equipment employees and 11 of their strategic partners went head to head at Whilton Mill, a premier Kart track to test both their nerves and competitive nature.

Thanks to a tremendous amount of support from strategic partners who truly embraced Briggs’ cause to raise funds for their latest charity partner of the year Alzheimer’s Research UK, the event raised over £8,000. This latest initiative brings the fundraising total to over £20,000 within the first three months of the new charity partnership!

Leigh Edgley, Briggs Sales Director said, “This was a great opportunity to bring together our strategic partners for a great cause whilst networking and having some fun. Special thanks has to go out to Pirtek for sending Andrew Jordan British Touring Car Champion to take part in the event”.

Briggs welcomed 11 partners to the event including Abbey Attachments, Hako Machines, Fork Truck Control, Pirtek, Hoppecke, Hyster, Master Mover, JLG, Yale, Golly Slater, Combilift and Bradshaw Electric Vehicles.

Despite the blue sky and sunshine leaving the track dry, most competitors still discovered the fine line between grip and an undignified spin.
