Briggs Equipment to support Armed Forces Weekend at the National Memorial Arboretum

Taking place on Saturday 30th June – Sunday 1st July 2018 at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Burton-Upon-Trent, the Armed Forces Weekend is set to be a great family-friendly event. Visitors to the celebratory weekend are welcomed to show their support for our country’s Armed Forces, whilst enjoying an activity-packed, action filled day out in this beautiful Staffordshire setting.

The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country. It is a living and lasting memorial.

Briggs Equipment are pleased to be the headline sponsor for the event and will have a presence within the grounds to help support the Arboretum’s fundraising activities, as well as providing information on careers within Briggs engineering workforce as a local employer.

Entry is free and you can expect to see some incredible flypasts from RAF Lancaster and Spitfire planes as well as other family activities including climbing walls, WW1 assault course, archery, zip line, food and gift fair, service of tribute and entertainment from a military band and Sincerely Yours music duo.
