Briggs Equipment recently welcomed its latest cohort of Engineering Apprentices to the company’s headquarters in Cannock, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in their careers.
Ahead of officially beginning their apprenticeships, the group attended an Open Day event alongside their families and loved ones, giving them the opportunity to meet fellow apprentices, connect with future colleagues and gain an insight into life within Briggs Group.
The event was designed to provide information about the apprentice programme structure and answer any questions the new intake of apprentices and their guests ahead of their journey.
Engineering apprenticeships continue to play a vital role in developing the next generation of skilled engineers, combining practical, hands-on experience with structured learning and mentoring from experienced professionals resulting in an industry recognised qualification.
As they begin their journey within Briggs Group, the new apprentices will receive the guidance, training and support needed to build their technical skills, develop professionally and establish long-term careers within the business.
