Briggs Apprenticeships FAQs
Apprenticeships are hands on educational programmes, and completing an engineering apprenticeship with Briggs means working with a diverse range of forklift trucks and other machines. That includes learning all about servicing, repairs and maintenance.
We offer apprenticeships across England, Wales and Scotland.
We advertise our Apprenticeship Engineering programme annually. Additionally, more apprenticeships will soon be available in other business areas, so keep your eyes peeled for vacancies!

The programme is 4 years in duration; however, the qualification is achieved within the third year. At Briggs Equipment, we offer an additional fourth year of development to truly enhance the knowledge of our engineers
Yes, previous qualifications at all levels can be considered! Many existing qualifications can support the knowledge and skills that an engineering apprenticeship focusses on developing.
GCSE qualifications, or equivalent, are needed to be considered for an apprenticeship with Briggs Equipment.
