Working in partnership with MasterMover, Briggs Equipment helps you manoeuvre heavy or large, awkward loads with ease using MasterMover electric tug solutions. Used worldwide by some of the leading names, award-winning MasterMover is the manufacturer of best-in-class electric tugs and maintains a 100% in-house design and development team to create high-performance solutions, many of which are custom made. MasterMover machines can move wheeled and semi-wheeled loads from 50kg up to 30,000kg and beyond. Electric tugs offer an alternative solution to forklifts or other lifting machines when space, safety and performance are of the highest importance.
Compact Range
The MasterMover Compact Range includes small but powerful machines capable of handling loads up to 6,000kg. Including the versatile best-seller SmartMover, and the newly updated and expanded MasterTug and MasterTow machines, there are a range of solutions designed to meet your needs.
Performance Range
The Performance Range is designed to work with heavier loads and includes the AllTerrain Tug, an effective electric load mover ideal for pulling and pushing wheeled loads, and the MasterPusher MP400, designed to push loads on rails up to 80,000kg. It also includes the PS800+ and PS3000+, MasterMover’s most powerful electric tug to date with MultiLink to offer use of multiple electric tugs in sync to move the heaviest and largest of loads.
Autonomous Guided Vehicle (AGV) Range
The MasterMover AGV electric Tug range offers outstanding efficiency and safety, utilising world-leading navigation technology. MasterMover AGV machines can be delivered as line following solutions, or full LiDAR solutions, depending on your requirements. MasterMover AGVs can operate inside or outside (or both) and are designed to interact with the surrounding environment as required. They help drive efficiency by ensuring your team can focus on jobs of value-add, whilst movement of loads is handled by the autonomous electric tug.

An electric tug is a piece of material handling equipment which helps operators to move heavy loads with greater ease and safety. Electric tugs are also known as electric tows, electric tuggers, pedestrian tugs, load movers or tow tractors. They are battery powered, require no license to operate and produce zero emissions.
Tow tractor is another name for an electric tug, a compact piece of materials handling equipment designed to help move loads around tight spaces.
Electric tugs connect with a wheeled load and use a series of electronic motors to turn the wheels of the vehicle.
With many MasterMover machines, the weight of the load itself is used to create traction thanks to a patent-protected weight transfer principle.
