SITUATION
VIG is a specialist in machinery installation and removal services. From their head office in Doncaster, VIG is highly experienced in the project management of both small, internal moves through to complex, multi-stream, international projects.
The high-intensity nature of their application required a tough truck that delivers performance, safety and has sustainability at its heart.
SOLUTION
After an extensive site evaluation process from the Briggs team, the new trucks are equipped and prepped specifically to meet the demands and uniqueness of VIG’s site and operation. The project itself was a collaborative effort between a number of teams from across the business, including specialist support from our Solutions Team.
The Carer trucks possess an impressive 8 tonne capacity and their electric configuration will help VIG deliver on their sustainability goals. The trucks are packed full of safety and operational features to help boost performance and operator comfort. The load sensing steering system, non-marking tyres and rear view camera are just a couple of examples of these ergonomic features. We’ve even been able to customise the colour of the truck to match the customer’s branding, and the rear chevrons will help increase visibility during operation.
RESULT
The new trucks are already busy making a positive impact on VIG’s operations and will help deliver benefits to all areas of their business.
