Originating as a family-owned business in the 1920’s, The Malcolm Group has become one of the leading providers of logistics, construction and maintenance services in the UK.Since appointing Briggs Equipment UK as its preferred supplier of materials handling equipment as part of an extensive materials handling capability review, Briggs has supplied over 137 pieces of new equipment across a range of sites including a number of sites that they manage on behalf of their customers.

XL Joinery is an ISO accredited market leading supplier of timber doors and associated joinery products who have recently taken nine new Hyster trucks on a long term contract from Briggs Equipment, boosting both efficiency and safety, whilst reducing the sites environmental impact. The Company have been trading for over 25 years and now have a staff of over 80 personnel, all playing their part to help distribute over half a million products each year.

Briggs Defence has been providing global equipment supply and support to the Ministry of Defence (MOD) for 20 years and is planning to commemorate the milestone with a special celebration in January 2018.

Since Briggs Equipment supplied just 15 Hyster machines for Cummins’ Darlington Engine Plant in 1998, the relationship has grown. Today, Cummins Briggs’ stands at almost 600 machines across 12 sites, and Briggs has worked closely with Cummins to help improve efficiency and safety.As a result, Briggs was recently recognised for supplier innovation for their material handling solutions at Cummins Europe, Middle East and Africa Supplier Awards.

RAMCO Tubular Services, the major player in tubular management services, recently took delivery of a fleet of Hyster high-capacity forklift trucks for its OCTG facility in Portlethen, Aberdeen. The trucks, which are supplied and serviced by Briggs Equipment, feature the latest in forklift truck technology for improved productivity, efficiency and low running costs.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has acknowledged Briggs Equipment’s commitment to supporting the UK’s Armed Forces community with the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award.
