Huge congratulations to our Customer Experience Team, who have added to their impressive collection of awards with a third consecutive ‘Close the Loop’ trophy!
The ‘Close the Loop’ award recognises those who not only engage proactively with customers, but also follow up with responses and deliver a satisfactory resolution. Key to the award win was an outstanding ‘closed loop’ record for all customer feedback survey responses!

The award winning team of 2024 includes; Gemma Beddow, Gail Tonkinson, Sam Watts, Emily Holbrook and Carla Postin, who have all played a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer experience.
Gemma Beddow, Head of Customer Relations at Briggs, gave us an insight about the team’s work and what it takes to build a winning formula:
“Firstly, I’m incredibly proud of the team and they deserve this recognition after the hard-work, dedication and passion they show each day for their profession. Winning this award for a third consecutive year highlights the high-standards that the team work towards.
“We’ve come such a long way since we started out on our customer experience journey, however we don’t want to stop here and I’m confident that there’s much more to come!
“A key element of our success has been the way in which the entire Briggs business has embraced the concept of customer experience, which has allowed us to build our findings and feedback into our service. As a result of our work we’re building stronger relationships with our customers, creating an open and honest culture and improving the way they work. We’ve said it all along, but customer experience really is a win for everyone involved in the process.
“I’d also like to recognise the crucial role our customers have and we are extremely grateful for their transparency, which allows us to implement change with confidence and precision.”
Another key element of the team’s activity is their commitment to charity. For each response survey completed by a customer a donation to the Briggs Equipment Charity of the Year is made. In 2024, over £13,000 has been raised for Air Ambulances UK
