Scrubmaster FAQs
A scrubber dryer is a type of industrial floor cleaning machine. It is designed to allow operators to scrub and dry floors in a single pass. Scrubber dryers are available in either walk-behind pedestrian models, or ride-on machines for seamlessly cleaning larger areas.
Hako primarily designed their scrubber-dryers for use on hard floors such as concrete, epoxy and resin, tiles, rubber, vinyl, and lino. They should not be used on carpets, unless you have a specific attachment which is designed and approved for that application.
It is essential to use either a pad or a brush when operating a scrubber-dryer. To get the desired clean it’s also important to choose the correct brush or pad.
- Disc brushes – available in light/medium and medium/heavy for different floor types
- Abrasive brushes – best for deep cleaning and heavy dirt
- Red pads – best for daily cleaning and buffing
- Blue and green pads – for medium duty applications
- Black and brown pads – for heavy duty applications and deep cleaning
Hako Scrubmasters are powered by electricity and have extensive battery life to aid efficiency.
Yes, scrubber-dryers are relatively straightforward to use. Upon delivery, operators are trained on how to use the machine safely and effectively, giving them the opportunity to ask questions and ensure they are confident when using the machine.
