How long have you been working at Briggs?
I have been working at Briggs Equipment for five years.
What does your job role involve?
Being a Deputy who supports the Service Controllers on a day-to-day basis, problem solving and delivering customer service to internal and external customers.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Supporting colleagues with problem solving and achieving targets as part of a team.
What is your proudest moment in your career at Briggs?
Completing my Deputy Development Programme over a 12-month period. Now with my skills, I can confidently apply them in my day-to-day tasks.
What is your biggest achievement as part of the team?
Being the first region (North) to be 2023 PM compliant.
Could you explain a bit more about the impact the Deputy role has on other areas of the business?
Supporting and delivering first class customer service within the business and supporting all team members across the business with all enquiries.
What’s your favourite film?
Favourite meal?
Anything with vegetables or salad – Steak, Lamb & Salmon. Or when in Greece, a Gyros washed down with a Mythos.
Favourite Musician?
I don’t really have a favourite, I like all kinds of music. The CD in the car at the minute is Power Ballads.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
My sister always tells me: “you can’t change the past and to look to the future”.
