Briggs Equipment has completed the acquisition of Blulift, one of the Republic of Ireland’s leading regional providers of powered access equipment.

Briggs Equipment has completed the acquisition of Galway Plant and Tool Hire (GPT), one of Ireland’s largest and most successful plant, commercial vehicle and tool hire specialists. Operating from eight sites throughout the Republic of Ireland, GPT employs more than 90 people and has delivered a trademark, high-quality service to customers since 1969.

Briggs Equipment has completed the acquisition of powered access equipment specialists Access Plus and its sister company, TrainingPlus, a nationwide training and skills provider.

Today marks the 1st anniversary of the launch of Qualitas Asset Compliance as part of Briggs Equipment. Qualitas was launched on 1st March 2021, and has since been undertaking Thorough Examinations (LOLER & PUWER) for Briggs customers and Briggs Group assets.

Briggs Equipment has completed the acquisition of materials handling dealer, Forkway Group (“Forkway”). Operating from three UK sites in Amersham, Dewsbury and Southampton, Forkway has supplied industrial equipment and expert engineering services to customers since 1961 with a philosophy and commitment that perfectly complements the Briggs Proposition.
