We would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone who has watched and supported our 2023 Christmas video so far, at the time of writing, the video has had more than 20,000 views!
The support has been overwhelming and we appreciate all the love and positive feedback we have received.
The meaning behind the video
This year, our focus was on our diligent Engineers, who work tirelessly 365 days a year, to keep business moving for all our customers. We wanted to showcase their hard work and commitment with an underlying message in the video.
The message is simple yet profound – when a present is left behind, it would be one of our Engineers (Mikey Harper) who spots the error and does everything in his power to save Christmas. This scenario is not too different from their daily tasks, where they work hard to resolve and fix any issues that may arise, and to keep our customers safe and happy.
Additionally, we wanted to add an extra bit of sparkle to the video by featuring our wellbeing dogs, who visit our depots throughout the year to help boost morale and positivity for our colleagues. The trio loved being on set and were brilliant.
The production
The production of this video couldn’t have been possible without the support of our fantastic partnership with Stone’s Throw Media, a trusted and professional award-winning production company. The team helped bring our vision to life, and exceeded all expectations as usual.
A special mention to our Lead Generation Specialist, Amanda Maaskant, who stepped out of her comfort zone to deliver the most brilliant story-telling voiceover, to help captivate our audience. Her contribution was invaluable and truly added a special touch to the video.
And finally, to the son of one of our colleagues, Joey Muller, who’s over the moon he’s now a “Youtube Star” and was a little superstar on the day. Joey’s enthusiasm and energy was infectious and he truly added a lovely spark.
