Amco, a full-service UK logistics provider, has taken a new fleet of brand-new Hyster and Combilift machinery in a new partnership between the two companies.
The delivery included four Hyster forklifts, four ride-on pedestrian pallet trucks, four articulated Aisle Master machines and two pallet wrappers.
Given the multi-directional capabilities of the Aisle Master equipment, the requirement for multiple machines is reduced and ensures that storage space can be optimised. The new machines will ensure that Amco maximise efficiency in their warehouses.
All trucks are fitted with a telemetry system which aids operator safety and with safety being a huge priority in this industry, this functionality will make sure that any issues are identified quickly and ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
As part of the telemetry system, the autonomous tracking technology will monitor the productivity and performance of the machines and ensure that no issues are being encountered.
