Flexible Repairs and Maintenance Plans For Industrial Equipment

Pay as you go or all-in maintenance, there's a plan to suit your budget

Keep your operations running smoothly with our repair and maintenance services. We offer flexible plans to suit every budget, from one-off repairs on a pay as you go basis to 12 month payment plans and 3 month review schedules. Unplanned breakdowns can halt productivity and drive up costs, but with a Briggs repairs and maintenance plan, you’ll benefit from a nationwide team of skilled engineers and rapid responses, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

With this pay as you go contract, we will contact you to arrange a convenient time for us to service your fleet. We will provide expert advice and agree a preventative maintenance schedule for each item of equipment then proactively plan these services throughout the year to ensure your fleet keeps moving. The added benefit of the agreement is that you can review at any time with no extra costs.

To help remove the fluctuation in your invoicing, this contract offers you a payment plan spread over a 12 month period. Take the total cost of your preventative maintenance as agreed with our Sales Executive then split this into 12 monthly payments for a simple solution.

Just like a typical utility bill, this service solution gives you the “flex” in your monthly servicing rates. A calculation is made on the servicing fee of your fleet which is reviewed every 3 months in a scheduled open book review meeting. This option puts you in control of your finances at all stages, having the visibility and flexibility of your service options with Briggs.

Transfer the responsibility to Briggs with fixed price maintenance. With All-in Maintenance (AIM) we take full responsibility for scheduling and planning your servicing and repairs for each piece of equipment at a set monthly rate. This ensures that all legal obligations are adhered to and equipment is operating safely for maximum productivity.

There is no contract, just straight forward support. If you need assistance from time to time with a part or service repair that is too big to handle in-house, Briggs can help.

We manage our service and commercial operations from our National Service Centre in Cannock, Staffordshire, with regional depots across the UK. With helpful, knowledgeable people, we give you outstanding levels of customer service.

An enhanced engineering solution

With one of the UK’s largest mobile engineering workforces, over 600 engineers, we have the resource to meet your servicing needs, whatever your size of fleet or application.

What Equipment Can Briggs Service?

From forklifts to agricultural equipment, we've got you covered

We service everything from materials handling equipment to access equipment, plant machinery, industrial floor cleaning machines, agricultural machinery and a wide range of specialist vehicles. Briggs Equipment engineers have the expertise and experience to provide a complete engineering solution.

We can service all types of forklift including counterbalance forklifts, sideloaders, VNA forklifts, multidirectional forklifts and trucks designed for rough terrain.

Boom lifts (cherry pickers), scissor lifts, compact crawlers, vertical mast lifts and low-level access platforms. Whatever form of MEWP your business uses, we can support with repairs and maintenance services.

We understand that warehouses rely on other forms of specialist warehouse equipment as much as they do forklifts and access equipment. That’s why we also have the ability to service doc levellers, racking, lifting tables, and loading ramps.

Keeping your premises clean plays an important part in keeping your machinery in good condition. Sweepers and scrubber-dryers remove dirt and debris, which could damge or clog other machinery. With the sweepers and scrubber-dryers gathering the dirt, it means these machines need to be maintained regularly. Briggs Equipment technicians have the know-how to service industrial floor cleaning machines such as sweepers, scrubber-dryers and outdoor cleaning machines.

Vehicle mounted forklift trucks, lorry-mounted cranes, platforms, skip loaders and power take offs.

Through Briggs Equipment’s expert technicians or our Asset Maintenance Services (AMS) team, we can service and repair mini diggers, trailers, compressors, pumps, jetters, skid steers, telehandlers, excavators, loading shovels, on board power units and water bowsers.

We have skilled technicians across our engineering and Asset Maintenance Services team who have the knowledge to repair and service agricultural machinery, such as tractors, mowers, reed boats, reed cutters, small plant items, quads, all terrain vehicles, and flails.

We service a diverse range of specialist vehicles, including electric vehicles, steps and cages, golf buggies, milk floats, multi mowers, tow tugs, tow tractors, cable reel trailers, generators and welfare units.

One-off Fixes and Breakdown Solutions

Emergency breakdown support even without a repairs and maintenance plan

Need breakdown support but don’t have a Truck Care plan? No problem. Although we do offer Truck Care and flexible plans for your peace of mind, you don’t have to be a member to receive support from us. FAQs

A repair and maintenance plan can help to save you money by helping your machine last longer and reducing the chances of machine down-time. When a forklift needs repairs, the downtime period can cause your business operations to slow and it can be a challenge to source the right part to fix it quickly. However, with a maintenance plan from us, you can rest-assured that if an unexpected breakdown occurs, we have access to OEM parts and we can quickly get a technician out to you.

Forklifts should be maintained regularly to meet safety standards and should have a LOLER inspection every 12 months. For aerial work platforms, LOLER inspections should be completed every 6 months.
